EJ project in Germany German NGO runs projects on environmental justice The Deutsche Umwelthilfe e.V. (DUH) is a German wide NGO that carries out projects on environmental justice in Germany. These projects are financed by the Umweltbundesamt (Environmental Protection Agency). A first project, that is already concluded, dealt with environmental justice through participation. A report, in German language, is available here.
At present a project on strategies for environmental justice aims to identify strategies on the local level to reach environmental justice. Here activities that can be followed by civil society are in the focus of interest. In spring several World-Cafes will take place to discuss strategies with different stakeholders from civil society.
